Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, is a canyon that was formed over two million years ago in the ice age. Its walls reach 100 meters up in the air and it has water flowing through it. Fjarðárgljúfur is in south Iceland by Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Hikers can walk inside the canyon, but you could have to wade in the river so bring your boots!
